Mary Palmer Douglas passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the age of 86. She was a native of Woodville, MS, a longtime resident of New Orleans, LA and Baton Rouge, LA, and a recent resident of Gambrills, MD. Mary is survived by her son, Kyle Douglas and his wife, Serina; grandchildren, Elle and Eldridge; sisters, Joyce Scott and Claudine Singleton; and a host of other family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Huey Douglas, Sr.; brother, Walter Lee Palmer, Jr.; and parents, Walter Lee Palmer, Sr. and Anna Brown Palmer. A graveside service will be at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 10:45am. Burial will immediately follow.
