A native and resident of Baton Rouge, she died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor. She was 86. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, Feb. 5, from noon until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by Deacon James Wax. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by a sister, Edna Earl McDonald, of Baton Rouge; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl Richard Furrow; parents, Ella Barrett and Walter G. Kidd Sr.; brother, Walter G. Kidd Jr.; and three sisters, Ella Warden, Mildred O'Brien and Yandell Lanehart. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church.
