She is survived by her daughters, Michele James and Denise McGowen; grandchildren, Sarah James and Chase Gossett; nephew, Guy Hymel Jr; and niece, Darcel Angelloz.
She is preceded in death by her parents Alma Marionneaux Ourso and Hanson Ourso; siblings, Esther Ourso Shaifer, Olga Hymel, N.H Ourso, Wilbur Ourso, Johnny Ourso, and Clifford Ourso.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10th at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge LA, 70815 at 11:30am. The Funeral service will begin at 1 pm with the burial to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
