Mary Grace David Green

Mary Grace died at 2:30 pm Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at North Oaks Medical Center. She was 79. Mary was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Amite. She was a homemaker. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, Friday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the recitation of the rosary at 6:30 pm. Visitation will resume Saturday at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am, conducted by the Rev. Jack Nutter. Visitation will continue following the Mass until 1:15 pm. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Mary is survived by her two daughters: Sallie G. Carrier&husband Timothy of Denham Springs, and Melinda Green of Baton Rouge; son: John R. Green of Baton Rouge; granddaughter: Emily Carrier of Denham Springs; grandson: Jonathan Carrier of Denham Springs; brother: Raymond C. David&wife Janice of Duplessis. Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Daniel W. Green, Jr.; her daughter-in-law: Vicky Lynn Green; parents: Louis E.&Madeline Major David; brothers; Dallas Leslie David, Joseph Alvin Davide; sisters: Lillian Territo, Mary Gertrude Burke and Betty Woodward. Mary was a member of St. Helena Catholic Church of Amite. Pallbearers will be her grandson, nephews and friends.
