Mary Lou Landry

Marie "Mary Lou" Landry entered this world on September 21, 1944, born to Robert and Louise Sobert, in Thibodaux, Louisiana. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 10, 2024.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her loving parents Robert and Louise Sobert, her loving son Chad Anthony Landry, and her beloved bulldog Tavi Louise Landry.

She is survived by her loving husband Russell Anthony Landry, her youngest son Scott Gerard Landry, her two incredible grandchildren David and Hale Landry, and her best friend of 40 years JoAnn Coffey.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at St. Aloysius Church, 2025 Stuart Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA, Saturday September 28, 2024, starting at 1:00 p.m. with a 2:00 p.m. mass. The family invites you to their home to share memories over a meal, her favorite way to spend her time, cooking and catching up. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Villalobos Rescue Center would be greatly appreciated. Mary Lou loved helping people and animals that needed second chances, and this is her favorite animal rescue that was created to help both. Mary Lou was an angel on earth, she will be deeply missed by many.
