A resident of New Roads, she passed away December 15, 2011 at the age of 87. Visitation will be at St. Patrick Catholic Church 12424 Brogdon Ln. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 10:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am celebrated by her nephew, The Rev. Timothy Burnett, OSB. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by two sons, Steve Urban and wife Lynnette and Wendell Urban. She leaves behind three grandsons, Ryan, Blake and Brandon Urban and six great grandchildren, three sisters, LeMerle Burnett, Geraldine Butcher and Pat Lanier and one brother, Francis Abbott. She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Marietta Abbott and two sisters, her identical twin Rowena Leonard and Shirley Allen.
