Mason was full of life and always smiling. He was happy, funny, polite and an incredibly well-mannered teenage boy. He loved his family and friends wholeheartedly and was with them in every spare moment. Mason had wit and was always up for a good time. A lover of 90’s country music he could sing every word and was an old soul when it came to music (except for his Lil Wayne tributes). Mason was a lover of the outdoors, a hunter and fisherman; a true South Louisiana boy. He was happiest shooting ducks and deer, catching his limit whenever and wherever possible. He loved spending time at the family camp and being on the water. Mason was also a talented athlete who excelled in soccer and football. He played soccer from age 4 to age 16 and advanced in competitive league. Mason enjoyed playing multiple positions for the varsity Dunham Football team for two seasons.
Sarcastic and fearless, unafraid and even lovingly described as “stubborn” by his sister Karlee, Mason was bright and fun. He smiled even in times of trouble and was such a sweet spirited young man.
Mason was adored and treasured by his family who cherished special & fun times together often. When Mason was around, he’d greet you with a loving tight hug and there was always a good story and something to make you laugh.
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our precious Mason. We are heartbroken to face his loss, but we are holding onto hope in our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
