
Maxine Berry Innerarity, 79, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011, in her Baton Rouge home. She was a native of Wisner. Her parents were the late Tom and Eva Berry. Maxine was a homemaker and loving wife to her surviving husband of 60 wonderful years, Leo Innerarity Sr., who stated, "God gave me my best friend, she showed me nothing but love and endearment. She always gave me encouragement. She was a gift from Heaven." Maxine's favorite scripture was Psalm 107:2: "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so." She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Donn Bourque; son and daughter-in-law, Leo Frank Jr. and Cindy Innerarity; four granddaughters and spouses, Heather and Chaz Hernandez, Malinda and Jamie Wendt, Crystal and Frank Abadie, and Amber and Kyle Watson; and six great-grandchildren, Chase Hernandez, Briana Wendt, Devin Shaffett, Christian, Hannah, and Kayleigh Abadie. Maxine was preceded in death by a sister, Earlene Nelson; and brother, Lawrence Berry. She is also survived by two sisters, Willie-Mae Bacot and Ruth Ezell. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, on Friday, July 22, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Saturday, July 23, from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m., conducted by Pastor Chuck Stearns of Bethany World Prayer Center. Burial services at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, directly following. Pallbearers will be Kyle Watson, Frank Abadie, Jamie Wendt, Chaz Hernandez, Eddie and Ricky Berry.
