
Claude Patin died at his home in Baton Rouge on Monday, March 24, 2008. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Wednesday, March 26, was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on Thursday from 11 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Gerald Burns, celebrant. Survivors include three daughters and their spouses, Denise Patin Heroman and Mark Heroman, Suzanne Patin Tueme and Elias Tueme, and Michelle Patin Tassin and Robert Tassin, all of Baton Rouge. He took great joy in sharing in the accomplishments of his seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher and Katie Heroman and Miranda, Shelby, Grace and Margo Tassin. He is also survived by a brother, Sydney Lee Patin, of Colorado Springs, Colo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Bergh Patin; and brother, Paul Patin, who was of Lake Charles. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Crowley, Serra Club, American Medical Society, Baton Rouge Medical Society and American Society of Anesthesiologists. He served as a Eucharistic minister at St. Aloysius Church. Pat was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. The family requests that memorial donations be made in his name to St. Aloysius School, St. Joseph's Academy or Catholic High School.
