
A retired master carpenter and a resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died at midnight Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, at his home. He was 51. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, Sept. 6, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Religious service at First Baptist Church of Wisner on Monday at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Thomas Peoples. Interment in Central Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Kathleen B. Turner, of Wisner; parents, Beverly Ann and Winton Earl Turner; two daughters, Rachel Lynn Turner Collignon and husband Sean, and Brooke Paige Turner Ezell and husband C.J.; two sons, Jeremy Michael Turner and Adam Win Turner; two sisters, Teresa Curtis and Tara Pocorello; a brother, Mark A. Turner; grandchildren, Taylor Tullier, Ian Collignon, and Caitlynn and Chloe Ezell; and special nephews, Brandon M. Curtis, Lee Daquin and Maxim Daquin. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Godfrey and Lois Turner, and Joseph and Bertha Daigle; and a grandson, James Raymond Ezell. Pallbearers will be Mark Turner, Mike Curtis, Lonnie Pocorrello, Lee Daquin, Joe Gray and C.J. Ezell. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Curtis, Lee Daquin and Maxim Daquin.
