Michael Irvin Elrod a native of Dallas, TX and resident of Baton Rouge passed away on Tuesday February 16, 2016 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center Bluebonnet at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his mother E. Jeanine Elrod, Father Edward I. Elrod; brothers, Andy & Kenneth Elrod, father-in-law James Williamson; mother-in-law Virginia Williamson; a brother-in-law David Williamson and a grandson Ethan Giordano. He is survived by his wife Carol W. Elrod, daughter Ashley Elrod (Kenney Giordiano); grandson Caleb Giordiano; granddaughter Alyssa Giordano; brother Benjamin Elrod; sisters Sarah Reese, Laura Love and Beth Pickering. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday February 22, 2016 from5pm-9pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday from 10am-12pm. Funeral Services will be at 12pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
