
A retired sales manager for Cintas, formerly Red Stick Linen Service, with more than 40 years of service, he died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at 7:55 a.m.in the Butterfly Wing of Hospice of Baton Rouge. He was 86 and a native and resident of Baton Rouge. During World War II, he served in the Pacific Theatre as a surgical technician in the U.S. Army. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 2 p.m.to 8 p.m.Sunday, Oct. 22. He is survived by his wife of more than 59 years, Vera Reinken Marino; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Marino Uhrich and Spencer; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey M. Marino and Sherri and Terry R. Mayeux and Cheryl; sisters, Lucy Marino Lombardo and Vita Marino Fontana; grandchildren, Michael F. Mayeux, Kristen M. Allain, Patrick Hebert and Brandi and Angeleah Marino; and great-granddaughter, Anna Rae Mayeux. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and six brothers.
