Michael Wayne "Peanut" Leonardt, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Conroe, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009. He was 31. He was a 1996 graduate of Christian Life Academy, where he played football. He attended LSU. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 16, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St. Visiting at Christian Life Fellowship on Thursday, Dec. 17, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Mac Devall officiating. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survivors include his son, Ayden Leonardt; the mother of his child, Erica Marler; parents, Susan Landry and husband Jerry, Tim Leonardt and wife Candy; "Grandma" Bert Thomas; two sisters, Kristen Landry and Lauren Leonardt; two brothers, Timothy Leonardt and Sean Landry; and other grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ayden Leonardt education fund at Chase Bank.
