

Mildred Callahan Bizette, a native of White Castle, La and a resident of Baton Rouge, La, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 18, 2014, she was 90. Mildred was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother; a parishioner of St. Pius X Catholic Church and dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed fishing and was known for her wonderful cooking. Mildred is survived by her children: Harry Bizette Jr. and wife, Cathie; Carol B. Blanchard and husband, Wayne; Mona B. Harding and husband, Glyn; James Bizette and Tammy B. Wilson; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Harry J. Bizette Sr.; parents, Philip and Clemance Callahan; brothers: Owen J. Callahan Sr., Earl “Cookie” Callahan, and Curling Callahan; grandchildren: Trey Harding, James Ladd Bizette and Michael Wray Franklin. Special thanks to care givers, Sharon Patin and Kassey Moore. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6380 Hooper Road, Baton Rouge, La., from 9:30 am until Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
