A native of Arkansas City, Kan., and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 88 and a retired schoolteacher with more than 20 years of service. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Tuesday, Oct. 12, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Graveside service will be private. Survived by her three sons and a daughter-in-law, Jan Patrick and Elizabeth Lee, of Annapolis, Md., Michael W., of Livingston, and David M., of Rosenberg, Texas. Also survived by her brother, Albert W. Brofft, of Warrick, R.I.; and three grandchildren: Mariusz Miodek, Michelle Lee and Jared Lee. Preceded in death by her husband, Jordan Grey Lee; and son, John Grey Lee. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and a charter member of Chapter K of P.E.O.
