

Nancy DeLange Adams was born November 6, 1933 in St. Paul, Minnesota and died February 14, 2015 at Sterling Place Nursing Home. Survived by son Paul David Hoffmann and wife Cathy, daughter Linda Hoffmann Landry and husband R.J. and son John Eric Hoffmann and wife Alison; Grandchildren Daniel Hoffmann, Julie Boies and husband Barry, Kimberly Suydam and husband Daniel, Christopher Buck, Jennifer Buck, Katherine Hoffmann and Sarah Hoffmann; and great grandchildren Brant Boies, Lily Ann Suydam and Conner Suydam. Brother Dr. John Roger DeLange, Jr and sister Kathy Jean Weber.
Preceded in death by parents Dr. John Roger Sr. and Ruth Dahm DeLange and sister Anne Yvonne Taner. Nancy graduated from Humboldt High School in 1951 in St. Paul Minnesota where she excelled in team basketball. She sang in the choir at the St. James Lutheran Church and assisted her father in his dental practice in the Lowry Medical Arts Building in downtown St. Paul. After moving to Baton Rouge she obtained her LPN.Some of Nancy’s past times included singing and playing the piano. In her later days with dementia, her son, David, who learned from her to play piano for her delight. She loved to laugh and entertain people with her sense of humor.Her delight in life was a trip she took to Hawaii. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Greenoaks Funeral Home beginning at 9:30am until Memorial Service at 10:30am; officiated by Pastor and family friend Leslie Akin.The family would like to thank the staff of Sterling Place Nursing Home and caregiver Deborah Scott for the attention given.
