Natasha Marie Sanford Dupuy

A loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, student and teacher, she departed this life Monday, Jan. 30, 2012. She was, absolutely, so smart and beautiful and lovely. To be in her presence was a delightful treat. Her family will miss and love her, always. Her Catholic faith made her who she was and shaped the lives of all who knew her. Throughout the life of her family, there was no one who was not, in some way, affected by her strong core belief in the tenets of the Catholic religion. Surely, she rests with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is survived by her husband, Charles Romual Dupuy III; grandmother, Marie Short Schofield; mother, Alice Schofield; father, Chapman Sanford and wife Mary Ann; sister, Alison Sanford Dazzio and husband Warren; brothers, Jeffry Lamonte Sanford and wife Thu Sang, Christopher Levert Sanford, Michael Dumontier Sanford and wife Starr, and Stephen Chapman Sanford and wife Courtney; brother-in-law, William Steven Dupuy and wife Keeley; and countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in St. Francisville on Thursday, Feb. 2, from 11 a.m. until Mass at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by Healing House, where she donated her time and efforts, 707 Lee Ave., Lafayette, LA 70501.
