She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. Faye was a native and resident of Baton Rouge. She died at 5:45 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at her home. Faye retired as an accounting manager from Piping & Equipment, with 26 years of service. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, from 11 a.m. until memorial services at noon in the funeral home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Linda Armstrong. There will be a reception following the service at 1:30 p.m. at Stage 1 Reception Hall, 13465 S. Harrell's Ferry Road. Faye is survived by two daughters, Jennifer L. Parker and Elizabeth Parker Guidry; a sister, Millie Patin Sicard; a brother, Van Patin; and grandchildren, Megan and Ethan Guidry. Faye was preceded in death by her mother, Sallie Patin; father, Clarence Taylor; stepfather, Davis Patin; and a sister, Tanya Taylor. Faye was a 27-year breast cancer survivor.
