Nell Rose Copsey passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026, at the age of 98. She was born August 30, 1928, in Baton Rouge, La. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Nell enjoyed gardening, quilting, making dolls, and was a beautiful seamstress. She remained a faithful and active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church throughout her life.
Nell leaves behind her 3 children, Sheryl Hubenak (Ronnie), Sylvia Williams (Bob), and Jim Golson (LuLu); 8 grandchildren, Keith Williams (Alexis), Mark Williams (Lea), Scott Williams (Kelly), Tara Hulse, Danielle Golson, Brooke Golson, Crystal Harrell (Joey), and Melissa Reeves (Storm); 12 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor David Copsey; her parents, Fred and Etta Tillery Holden; and her brother, Herman “Buddy” Holden.
