

A resident of Baton Rouge, she went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at age 72. She was born in Lakeland on Oct. 26, 1938, to her parents, the late Charles F. Chustz Sr. and Lillian LeBlanc Chustz. She was one of 11 children, five brothers and five sisters. Neva is survived by her loving husband, Malcolm; her son and daughter-in-law, Malcolm III and Jodi Little Stein; her grandchildren, Malcolm IV, Justin and Alexandra. She is also survived by two brothers, John Earl and Alfred Chustz, sister-in-laws Judy, Elsie and Nyla Jo Chustz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Charles, George and Jimmy; and sisters, Florence, Ruby, Mabel, Rose Mary and Shirley. Pallbearers will be Malcolm Stein IV, Justin Stein, Alfred Chustz, Ivan Shows, Alvin Bourke and Brian Skelton. Honorary pallbearer is John Earl Chustz. Visitation at Greenoaks Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Monday, Jan. 17, from 11 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 2 p.m., conducted by Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church of which Neva was a member.
