Nicholas "Nick" Yunshun Lo passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 35. Nick was a proud LSU graduate, loving son, brother, uncle, and devoted friend. He was an avid foodie, world traveler, and loved to drive anywhere. He is survived by his parents, Jennifer Lo and Eddie Lo; brother, Chris Lo; niece Elizabeth Lo, grandmother, Chung Sim; godmother Michele Li, aunt Pauline Lo, uncle Joe Lee, and other uncles and aunts and cousins in the US, Canada, and Hong Kong. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the doctors, nurses, therapists, CNA’s and housekeepers, chaplains, Father Sam, Mr. Sal, Ms. Lisa, Sister Helen, Ms. Nancy and nurse Emily for the outstanding care and compassion they provided to Nick. And a special thanks to all of Nick’s coworkers and friends at the Lady of the Lake hospital for their friendship, he will always be remembered as “Nick from Central”. And another special thanks to all of Nick’s friends at the Jefferson Baptist Church, especially Joseph and Mary, and all of Nick’s LSU friends for their years of friendship with him. And a very special thanks to the family of Ms. Elaine Andrews, the family of Ms. Peggy Breaux and the family of Dr. Gene Luther for their continued friendship during these difficult months. Nick’s smile will live on to brighten our lives every day. Nicholas will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Rabenhorst Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
