Nicholas Joseph (Nick) Musacchia, Jr.Nicholas Joseph (Nick) Musacchia, Jr. passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at his residence in Ponchatoula, LA. He was 61, a native of New Orleans, LA and former resident of Metairie, LA. Nick was a member of the Knights of Columbus Hammond Council #2952 and a member of the Lions Club of Metairie. He was a former member of the New Orleans Wheels Basketball Team. Nick is survived by step-father Franklin D. Dardenne; two sisters, Patricia Musacchia Durel and husband Arthur, Maria Musacchia Lea and husband Art, one brother Gerald Wayne Musacchia and wife Keri; three nieces, Shari Roscher Fourcade and husband Johnny, Kaitlyn Lea Kinchen, Alexis Gabrielle (Gabby) Hughes; three nephews Kyle Nick Musacchia, Garrett Ross Lea, Jarrett Kyle Hughes and wife Katie; two great nieces, Brooke Alexa Fourcade, Annie Kait Kinchen, two great nephews, John Lester Fourcade III, Brantley Jackson Hughes. Nick was preceded in death by his parents Nick Joseph Musacchia and Ann Niquiporo Musacchia Dardenne, grandparents Anthony and Virginia Arnone Musacchia and Ernest and Annie Collier Niquiporo. One niece Karen Marie Roscher, and a step-sister, Cynthia Dardenne. Pallbearers will be Kyle Musacchia, Garrett Lea, Jarrett Hughes, Johnny Fourcade, John Fourcade, Joseph Musacchia, Jr., Russell Ribando and Joey Ribando. Visitation will be Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 29350 S. Montpelier Road, Albany, LA 10:00 AM until religious services at 1:00 PM. Service will be conducted by Bro. Jace Shawley. Interment will follow in Pompeii Cemetery, Tickfaw, LA. Rabenhorst Funeral Home Baton Rouge in charge of arrangements.
