

"Charlotte, NC "“ Nicole Francis Davis Pellitteri passed peacefully on August 23, 2018. A Wake will be held for Nicole on Monday August 27, 2018, 5-7PM at the Cavin Cook Funeral Home in Mooresville, North Carolina, 494 E. Plaza Dr., Mooresville, NC. A Wake will be held for Nicole Thursday August 30, 2018 in Baton Rouge, LA at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., Baton Rouge, LA 70802 from 5:00-8:00PM. Friday August 31, 2018 a Catholic Right of Christian Burial will be said by Fr. Miles Walsh at Our Lady Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70806. Visitation will begin 12:30 and the funeral Mass will be held at 2:00PM. Family and friends will proceed to Roselawn Cemetery, 4045 North St., Baton Rouge, LA 70806 for the burial. Nicole Francis was born in Corpus Christi, TX on May 26, 1970 as the first born of twins with Nedra Sue, where she resided until 1980. The family moved to Lafayette, LA in December of 1980 where she attended Edgar Martin Brown Middle and Acadian High School class of 1988. Nicole was an award-winning professional chef for ten years following high school, then returned to Baton Rouge, LA in 1998. Nicole received her BA, Business Management, Communications, & English (2001-2005) and Masters of Business Administration (2005-2007) from Louisiana State University. Nicole gave birth to one beloved child, Phoebe Maeve. She married the love of her life, Jonathan Pellitteri after completing her degrees. Nicole was a successful executive with a long career in the Health Care industry, most recently working for Curo Health Services, Inc. in Mooresville, NC as their Director of Billing and Collections. She specialized in Revenue Recovery, Enterprise Risk Management, and Corporate Strategic Initiatives. She had a diverse background and an understanding of the national healthcare direction of the Patient Centered Medical Home which gave her a unique perspective to Home Health's role in the improvement of the quality of care and lives of the critically ill patients in the U.S. Nicole was devoted to her family. Nicole loved art, building a cherished collection through her life. Nicole was a leader and mentor. She was generous with her love and time. She was beautiful inside and out. She loved people and had a strength of character that embodied the Steel Magnolia and so much more. She loved cooking and hosting parties. Nicole celebrated the month of May with her twin sister every year for their birthday. She had extraordinary taste in clothing, jewelry, food, and wine! Nicole adored wearing hats and was absolutely fabulous. Nicole loved to travel. She loved having Tea at the Windsor Hotel in New Orleans, LA and the Ballentine Hotel in Charlotte, NC. Nicole loved her friends and was a soul-sister to many. Nicole loved the beach, holidays, especially Christmas, and enjoying time with her family. Nicole was a Sci-fi junkie and Star Wars Fangirl. Nicole was a fairy Godmother. Nicole was a devout Catholic. Her faith in Jesus, love of Mother Mary and love from her wonderful husband Jonathan, treasured daughter Phoebe, family, and friends kept her going through the four-year valley of cancer. She fought so hard. She inspired so many. She will be missed by many. We pray her soul will be in heaven so she can intercede for us all. She was an incredible wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, & friend. We all love you Nicole. Nicole's Patron Saint Archangel Raphael, pray for us! Nicole is survived by her husband, Jonathan Pellitteri; and child, Phoebe Maeve Pellitteri; siblings, Bob Davis and wife Brenda, Liz Lanoix and husband Darin, Joe Davis and wife Polly, twin sister Nedra Hains and husband John, Reagan Davis and wife Diane; Godsons, Janus Korevec and Nick Davis; and a multitude of loved nieces, nephews, and adopted kin! She was preceded in death by her parents Shirley Francis Cole Davis and William Houston Davis; and grandparents Lulumae McDonald and Robert Davis, and Suzy Floyd Shepard and Robert Monroe Cole. The Family would like to thank the Grace Hospice Foundation, Oncology Specialist of Charlotte, and Novant Presbyterian Cancer Center for all their assistance and support. A special thank you and love to the Hall family, the Phillips family, and the Campbell family for their care, support and assistance.
