Mrs. Robb passed away peacefully at her home in Denham Springs on Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, with her family at her side. She was born in Star, Miss., on Sept. 20, 1930, to Winfred Houston "Chris" Alford and Mattie Jewel Graves Alford. Mrs. Robb is survived by her children, Debbie Robb of Baton Rouge, William and Barbara Susan Robb Purdom of Mont Belvieu, Texas, Thomas Andrew Robb of Prairieville, Chris Robb of Houston and Baton Rouge, Norma Ruth Robb of Baton Rouge, and Stan and Beth Robb Wood of Watson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Terence Paul and Kimberly Buckles, both of Baytown, Texas, Brittany Renee Robb of Baton Rouge, Carley Elizabeth Wood of Watson, Peyton Alexandra Robb of Prairieville, Emily Meghann Robb of Baton Rouge, Ryan Robb Wood of Watson, and Olivia Ann-Marie Robb of Prairieville. Mrs. Robb was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Norman Robb; and son, Norman Rickey Robb. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The family will attend a private funeral service.
