
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain. For the former things are passed away." Rev. 21:4. A beloved husband, father and Paw Paw, Norman came to rest at his home on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at age 89. He was a resident of Denham Springs, a native of Roseland and an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Henry was a retired supervisor with Coca-Cola Bottling Co. with 30 years of service, a member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church, Fairfield Masonic Lodge 425, F&AM, and The Acacia Shrine Temple. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Odell R. Henry; two daughters, Bobbie May and husband Gerald, and Barbara Booth and husband Ellis; a sister, Lynell Vines; grandchildren, Donna Lockhart and husband Mike, Randy Booth and wife Cheryl, Tammy Bourgoyne and husband John, and Suzonne Bernard and husband Jeremy; and great-grandchildren, Amanda Mills, Stephanie Myrick, Michael Lockhart, Dané Blackwell, Meagan Burt, Brandon Bourgoyne and Blayton Bernard; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Addie Lynell and Lonnie Henry; sister, Eloise Rutland; and two brothers, Archie and Homer Henry. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Sept. 4, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a Masonic service at 6 p.m. Visitation at Florida Boulevard Baptist Church, 10915 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Louis Boyd. Military graveside service at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mike and Michael Lockhart, Jeremy Bernard, Randy Booth, Brandon and John Bourgoyne and Brandon Scivicque. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Myrick, Scott Burt and Josh Blackwell. A special thanks to Life Source and especially Theresa Lenoir, Katie Presas and Diane Miller.
