Pamela Leaver Wygle, a devoted wife and mother of three, and 30+ year resident of Baton Rouge, passed away peacefully at her home on July 14th, 2021 at the age of 66. She is survived by her husband Robert; her three children John, Rachel, and Mary; and one grandchild, William. She also has two surviving brothers John and Mark, along with five sisters Carol, Linda, Chris,Tammy and Monica. Pam was born in Peoria, Illinois on April 12, 1955 to John Vernon Leaver and Mary Castle Leaver. She attended Bradley University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduating, she relocated to Dallas, Texas for modeling with the Kim Dawson Agency. Pam and Robert were married in Fort Worth, Texas. Subsequently, the family moved to Louisiana in 1989 where they have lived to the present day. Pam was very artistic. She was a licensed hair stylist for many years and enjoyed oil painting and fashion. In the early 2000's, she acquired her real estate broker’s license and worked in the industry for many years. She was a devout Catholic and attended Mass regularly at St. George Catholic Church. She will be missed by family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. The visitation at St. George Catholic Church is open to the public and scheduled for Friday July 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. led by Father Paul Yi.
