Patricia Ann Burns-White

She is survived by her former husband and father of her children, Elgene White; children, Tara (Scot) Wilson, Dana (Joe) Killian, Chris (Jena) White, and Tim (Christa) White; three brothers, Gerald Burns, Mark (Gail) Burns, and Matt (Cherie) Burns; two sisters Carolyn Burns and Kay (Danny) Crochet; as well as many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Shelby Burns Jr. and Margaret Dugas Burns; her brother Shelby Burns and wife Carmen; and nephew, Brett Burns.

She was a 1958 graduate of St. Anthony High School in Baton Rouge and worked in the past in private industry along with the Ascension Parish School Board at Galvez Elementary School. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic faith.

Private services will be conducted by her brother, Rev Gerald Burns at a later date due to COVID. Interment will take place at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to charities assisting those suffering from mental illness.
