Patricia Ann Dettman

March 10th1944-June 28th 2021

Patricia Ann Murphy Dettman passed away peacefully on June 28th ,2021 surrounded by her adoring family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Henrietta Murphy Sr. and her brother, Thomas Murphy. She is survived by her sister Theresa Murphy Jackson (Jerome), brothers Edgar Wilmur Murphy Jr., and Edward Henry Murphy (Toni), and many nieces and nephews. She is cherished by her beloved husband of 57 years, Joel Roger Dettman, Sr. and her children that she loved endlessly, Joel Roger Dettman, Jr. (Krista), Katherine Dettman Ferrari (Gary), Rebecca Dettman Elmore, Christopher Lee Dettman (Jodi). She was the doting grandparent of ten grandchildren: Jessica Dettman, Andrea F. Boudreaux (Joel), Ashley Ferrari, Jared Ferrari, Eric Dettman, Haylee Dettman, Madison Elmore, Mason Elmore, Owen Dettman, Hudson Dettman, Macayd Ferrari, and one great grand-daughter, Vivian Estelle Boudreaux.

Pallbearers include Joel Roger Dettman Jr, Christopher Dettman, Jared Ferrari, Eric Dettman, Owen Dettman, Macayd Ferrari, Hudson Dettman, honorary pallbearer Private Mason Elmore.

Viewing will be held at Greenoaks Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815, on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 11:00am until funeral service time of 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
