Pat, a native of Banner, MS and a resident of Central, LA, was born August 28, 1941 and passed away on August 4, 2011 at Zachary Manor Nursing Home. Pat was a loving mother and grandmother. She was always ready for an adventure and loved to travel. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Rochelle Whittington; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Johnny Ventrella; her Mother, Kathleen Henderson; Sister, Sandra Blackwell; Granddaughter, Courtney Whittington; the father of her children, Robert Whittington and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, M.E. Hurst; brother, Merle Edwin Hurst; sister, Theresa Romano and infant brother David Herald Hurst. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, August 6, 2011, from 10 am until noon with service to follow in the chapel.
