Patricia Ann Phillips McDaniel Myler Lumpkin, 63, passed away Friday morning, May 30th, 2014, after a lengthy illness. Pat was born Apr 15, 1951 in Eunice, La. Pat was a 1968 graduate of Baton Rouge High School, and retired from the Louisiana State Division of Administration in 2007. Pat was the loving mother of Shawn Christopher McDaniel, and is survived by Shawn, her daughter-in-law Kristi Hamlin McDaniel, and her grandson Christopher Joseph Reiley McDaniel. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Durward Phillips and Margaret Phillips, and by her sister, Mary Singer. The family asks that remembrances be made to Cat Haven of Greater Baton Rouge in lieu of flowers. A memorial service will be held for Pat on Saturday June 14th, 2014, at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd in Baton Rouge. Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. with a memorial service for Pat at 2 p.m.
