| Our beautiful, loving, and caring sister, mother, wife and friend has left us to join Dad, her brothers, and her first husband in the hands of God on 6-20-18. She knew early on that she was called to be a nurse. Her life was a service to others; initially she was an aid at Resurrection Hospital in Chicago. Trish completed nursing studies at Triton College before becoming a Registered Nurse and working at Elmhurst Hospital. During this time she married Robert Foster and they had two children. Later as Robert's health declined the family relocated to Baker Louisiana near Baton Rouge where his family was from. Here she worked at a nursing home facility and at Earl K. Long Hospital. After Robert made his transition, Trish focused on continuing her work as a nurse while raising two teenagers. In 1999 she met her second husband Eric Rider, on AOL online through a personal ad. At Thanksgiving of that year they married and moved in together in Baton Rouge. Trish began working at Ochsner (O'Neal) in Baton Rouge as a med-surg nurse. Later she received the necessary training to become a wound-care nurse.Following the horrible flood in New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina she used her wound-care expertise to help treat a number of evacuees from there. She was noted by her patients and colleagues as being able to combine remarkable kindness towards others with the necessary knowledge to promote healing. Later in her career at Ochsner she helped train student nurses. Outside of work she was known to make herself available to others by lending a kind ear and/or medical knowledge to those who needed a kind soul to hear about the challenges facing them. Trish had a passion for murder mysteries and especially enjoyed professional hockey. Trish recalled the joy of going to Chicago Blackhawk games with her father while growing up. Other hobbies included crochet work and baking cookies and cakes for other during the holidays. Trish loved her pet dogs and was especially fascinated by ducks. When she began working at Ochsner off O'Neal she noted that she was in the right place because of all the ducks that were present on the grounds and the nearby lake. Trish will be sorely missed by those who knew her kind spirit. She is survived by her mother Rosaleen Rita Moreth, her husband of 18 years Eric Blane Rider, her children William David Foster(Lisa) and Elizabeth Marie Foster, her daughter-in-law Laura Rider, her grandchildren Logan Foster, Paige Foster, Ian Knight, Jenna Knight, and Seth Breaux, sister Carol Lee Bavone (Frank), William Gerald Moreth (Chrissie), Brother-in-law Alan Rider(Debbie) as well as a number of nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her father William Christopher Moreth, her husband Robert Foster, brothers James Albert Moreth and Michael Arthur Moreth and James' wife Marilyn Moreth.
