"Patricia Clare Holliday Thompson, age 85, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2019, surrounded by her brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews. A native of Baton Rouge, she was born on September 2, 1933. She was a graduate of Louisiana State University, and a former resident of Baton Rouge, LA, New Orleans, LA and Houston, TX. She had been employed by Texaco, Inc. and the U.S Internal Revenue Service. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Jackie Lee Thompson of Midland, TX; her sister, Anne Holliday Kane; and her parents, Col Joseph A. Holliday and Madeleine Rhodes Holliday. She is survived by her son, William Robert Thompson of Houston, TX. Visitation will take place from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, January 30 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street. A Graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, January 31 at Roselawn Memorial Park, 4045 North Street. Pall bearers will be: Timothy Kane, Terrence Kane, Stephen Kane, Samuel Kane, David Laborde, and Drew Cavell. The family would like to thank the staff at Southside Gardens for her care, as well as the nurses with Hospice of Baton Rouge.
