
She passed away on Sunday,December 22, 2013 at OurLady of The Lake RegionalMedical Center. She was 88, anative and resident of BatonRouge, but she lived in numer-ous cities in Louisiana with herfamily as her dad traveledaround the state for work as anengineer and as a municipalcontractor. She was a memberof the St. Monica AgnesChurch Group, PEO Chapter,Junior League of Baton Rouge,The Reviewers Book Club, TheInner Wheel Club of Rotary In-ternational, Delta Delta DeltaSorority, The Ladybugs, Harle-quin Dance Club, The Caledo-nian Society, a past Docentwith Magnolia Mound, CoachesCommittee for the L.S.U. base-ball team and the Tiger Ath-letic Foundation. She was pastQueen of the Krewe of Achilles.Some of her hobbies includedduck hunting as a child withher father along the southLouisiana coast, her many ar-tistic creations, cooking, trav-eling, and her monthly ladiesluncheon. She had a long andloving marriage to Floyd W."Flop" Womack, who precededher in death. She is survived byher sister, Carolyn McDougallSelig, who was her lifelongbest friend; daughter, LydiaCaroline; and sons, Mac andwife Sheryl of Baton Rouge andChris and wife Melinda Wom-ack of Destin, Florida; tengrandchildren, William andCaroline Campbell, MacDou-gall, Reed, McKenzie, Brendan,Annie and Joseph Womack,Patrick and Noah Womack; andthree great-grandchildren,McKenzie Cole, Willow Camp-bell and Gavin Corban. Visita-tion will be Monday, Decem-ber 23, 2013 at Sacred Heartof Jesus Catholic Church, 1:00P.M. until Mass of ChristianBurial at 2:30 p.m. celebratedby Fr. Miles Walsh. Internmentwill follow in Roselawn Memo-rial Park.
