Patricia G. Yost “Ajax” of Baton Rouge passed away losing her battle with cancer on January 17, 2021. She is survived by her devoted sister and caregiver, Melissa G. Alessi and very loving sister and caregiver, Winnie G. Allen; her life-given sons, Mario and Lee Alessi, her life-given grandchildren; Ann Marie, Drew, Preston and Travis Alessi, as well as many other nieces and nephews she loved dearly. She is also survived by siblings, Dottie G. Knost, Alonzo M. Goldman Jr., Sarah G. Lee, Horace C. Goldman, Mary G. Fields and Cecil A. Goldman. Preceded in death by parents, Alonzo M. Goldman Sr. and Minnie B. Goldman; sister Susie B. Goldman, brother James C. Goldman and her life-given son, Andrew J. Alessi.
Patricia was an avid Oklahoma Sooners football fan! She was a loyal, trusted and dedicated employee of 15 years of Morris Dickson LLC as a pharmaceutical courier, always going the extra mile to meet and exceed all expectations. She traveled the world as an avid reader of the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today as well as countless other books and publications. Patricia wanted to offer special thanks to Dr. Sanjay Juneja, the Amedisys Staff and the 6th floor staff at the Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet for their loving care throughout her illness. A heart-felt thanks to George H. Knost, Patricia’s eldest nephew, for his genuine kindness and devotion to family.

Pallbearers will be, Mario Alessi, Clint Goldman, Blake Goldman, Bud Persilver, Clay Goldman, Drew Alessi, Travis Alessi and Preston Alessi.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, January 22, from 9:00am until funeral service time of 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park
