A retired warehouse manager for Frito-Lay Inc. and a resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died at 3:30 p.m.Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, at his home. He was 77 and a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 3 p.m.until wake service at 6 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Thomas Duhé. He is survived by his daughter, Alice White Hodges of Baton Rouge; son, Patrick "Ricky" Guerin II of Baton Rouge; sister, Marie Jeanne Mullen of Livonia: two brothers and sisters-in-law, Alan and Carolyn Guerin of Carrollton, Texas, and James and Carol Ann Guerin of Prairieville; grandchildren and their spouses, Dale and Christi Spring Hodges, Allison Colby Hodges Smith, Debra "Dee Dee" Hodges Norris, Pam Hodges Deach, Kevin Hodges, Markie Sullivan, Brittany Sullivan and Josh Cain; and great-grandchildren, Cooper Hodges, Colton Hodges and Zachary Vicknair. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Frances Rose Guerin; parents, Tony and Aline Guerin; and a brother, Donald A. Guerin. A special thanks to his caregiver, Necola Carter.
