Patsy Hutter

Patsy “Pat” Ruth Hutter, native of Baytown, TX and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the age of 82. A retired Real Estate Agent she is survived by her daughter, Helen Kay Hoffpauir; daughter-in-law, Kathy Hoffpauir; three grandchildren, Jessica Jayne Hoffpauir, Jay Michael Hoffpauir, Katherine Hoffpauir Wardlaw and husband Dan; three great grandchildren, Jay Daniel Wardlaw, Julianna Elizabeth Wardlaw, and Joseph Blake Wardlaw; and her beloved pet and companion, Katie. She is preceded in death by her father, John Henry Pagan, Sr; mother, Mabel Armer; step-father, Gene Armer; husband, Joe Hoffpauir; son, Jay A. Hoffpauir; second husband, Jerry Hutter; and brother, John Henry Pagan, Jr. She achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts from LSU in 1976. Pat was a talented artist, lover of all the arts and music. An avid traveler, Pat and her mother visited most European countries, Egypt, China, Japan, Bali, New Zealand, Australia, the Caribbean, South America, and Alaska. She was blessed with two beloved husbands, Joe and Jerry. Pat was a friend of Bill W for almost 30 years. Thanks to those dear friends at the Shenandoah Group for their love. She also enjoyed her membership at First Christian Church. Pat lived life to the fullest through many challenges, including her long battle with COPD. Special thanks to Dr. Babin and Dr. Hodges. She was loved by all and will be missed by many. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 5 pm until 7 pm and will resume on Saturday from 10 am until religious services at 12 pm.
