

Patsy M. Latiolais, age 92, of Erwinville, LA, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. She was born on January 29, 1933, in Arnaudville, LA, and was the daughter of Elzay Meche and Oscalie Meche, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart, and her faith was the steady foundation of her long and beautiful life. Patsy is preceded in death by her husband, Easton I. Latiolais; her beloved son, Keith Gerard Latiolais; her son-in-law, Steve Moots; all eight of her siblings; and her great-grandson, Rhett Harper. She leaves behind a loving family who treasured her dearly: Her daughters, Brenda Moots and Donna Speights (Des); grandchildren, Candice Coffey (Jonathan), Casie Munsell (Nathan), Christian Moots (Ashlee), David Easton Speights (Brittany), and Danielle Hambrick (Blake); and her great-grandchildren, Angelle Coffey, Jackson Coffey, Emorie Munsell, Garvey Munsell, Aubrey Moots, Weston Moots, Helen Margaret Munsell, Baylor Moots, Eliana Speights, Easton Speights, and Landry Moots. Her life was a beautiful example of love, resilience, and grace. She touched lives with her kindness, her gentle strength, and the light she brought into every room. She was the one her family turned to for wisdom, for listening, for venting, and for comfort. Her legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory. The family would like to give special recognition to Joni Rose, who loved MawMaw as her own and
provided unwavering care, support, and companionship throughout her later years. They would also like to extend a special thanks to Diana Galeano and Jackie Rittell, and the staff of Amedisys Hospice. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 12pm until the funeral service at 2pm. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
