Paul Aster Bergeron, 39, a resident and native of Baton Rouge, he passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Gonzales. Paul was a proud Navy veteran and worked as a master sergeant at Elayn Hunt Correctional Center. He was also studying for a degree in criminal justice at ITI Technical Institute. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, (225) 925-5331, on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. until religious services in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Phil Spano. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his mother and father, Lillian Bergeron and Charles Bergeron; sister, Janet Waldrop; brother, Bobby and wife, Deanna Bergeron; and fiancée, Lynn Russell.
