

Paul James"Jimmy"LeBlanc Jr., beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Sept. 16, 2014, at the age of 90. He served his country with honor as a Marine flight instructor in World War II and the Korean Conflict. Returning to Baton Rouge, he founded and ran Pearce&LeBlanc Construction and the Red Oak Water Company. He achieved great success in life,"having lived well, laughed often, and loved much."Jimmy cherished his faith, his family and his hometown. Many friends, young and old, will remember his big smile, kind heart and generous spirit. Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Jane Merritt LeBlanc; his parents, Paul James and Edna Mae LeBlanc; and a brother, William Conway LeBlanc. He is survived by his son, Conway LeBlanc and wife Terri; daughter Ann Guercio and husband Rob; grandchildren Benjamin LeBlanc, Susannah LeBlanc, Merritt Guercio and Mimi Guercio; and wife Mary Lou LeBlanc. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until religious services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St. Following interment at Roselawn Memorial Park, family and friends are invited to the City Club of Baton Rouge, 355 North Boulevard at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Elizabeth's Foundation, Cancer Service of Baton Rouge, or The Hospice of Baton Rouge.
