He graduated form Redemptorist High School in 1973. Paul was a dedicated employee in the grocery industry. He began at an early age and worked until he became disabled in 2010. Many people recognized him as a dedicated, caring, and friendly face at One Stop Market and Hi Nabor grocery on Winbourne. Many friendships were developed and the Crifasi family have been like family. Paul was a loyal member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #2807. He also served many years as an altar server, usher, and Eucharistic Minister at St. Anthony and St. Patrick Catholic churches.
Paul enjoyed his time at family gatherings and serving others in the community. He was dedicated to helping his brother until he became ill. Everyone knew them as “the twins” and they were truly there for each other. Together they were passionate L.S.U. tiger fans.
Paul is survived by a sister, Ella Lombardo Fairchild and her husband, James Fairchild. Paul is preceded in death by his “always faithful side-kick” twin brother, Peter Michael Lombardo and his parents, Paul Joseph and Lois (Sobral) Lombardo.
Visitation will be at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00a.m. A service of remembrance and celebration of life mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
Arrangements were made through Rabenhorst Funeral Home East. Special thanks from the family to St. Clare Nursing Home, Central Guest House, and Hospice of Baton Rouge who provided care and support for Paul over the years.
