Paul Quinn

Quinn, Sr. PaulPaul Quinn Sr. was a native of Hackleburg, Alabama, and a resident of Baton Rouge where he owned Paul&Son Sheet Metal Company.  At the age of 87, he passed away peacefully at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center on Thursday, August 13, 2015. As an avid LSU sports fan, he seldom missed a basketball, football, baseball, or softball game on TV.  He also enjoyed puttering around his vegetable garden and tending to his roses. Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty Jean Fitzpatrick; and his parents, Claude and Myrtle Pleasant Quinn.  Paul is survived by his children and their spouses:  Paulette Quinn O'Brien and her husband Mike O'Brien; Melissa Quinn Gorman and her husband David Gorman; Paul Quinn and his wife Kimberly Mullens Quinn.  Paul is survived by his grandchildren:  Joe Paul O'Brien and his wife Christina; Patrick O'Brien and his wife Lauren; Jeremy Lee Glock; Kayla Glock; Cody Gorman; Phoebe Quinn; Riley Quinn. Paul is also survived by his great grandchildren: MacKenzie, Lucy, Ellie, Raegan, Quinn, and Johnnie Kate O'Brien; Laken Glock; Rylik Woodward; and Lola Killian. Pallbearers will be: Joe Paul O'Brien, Patrick O'Brien, Jeremy Lee Glock,  Audry Gonzales, Scott Tubb, and Bruce Mullens. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, Saturday from 11:30 am until  the memorial service at 2:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family of Paul Quinn, Sr. wishes to thank Our Lady of the Lake RMC staff for their help and support.
