Paul “Jay” Tucker, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the age of 65. He was born on August 5, 1960, in Laurel, Mississippi. He was a graduate of Morgan City High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Nicholls State University.
Jay was a dedicated finance professional for many years. Beyond a successful career, Jay enjoyed time with family, friends, and his beloved dogs. He was also a sports enthusiast, enjoyed playing golf, and was an excellent cook.
Among the many family members and loved ones he leaves behind are his daughters, Natalie Tucker (son, Max) and Marla Duplantis (sons, Connor and Andrew), brother, Dennis Tucker (wife, Scotti), sisters, Paula Tucker Breaux and Cheryl Tucker Harrell (husband, Alan), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Charles Tucker & Peggy Ann Huddleston Tucker.
A family memorial service will be held at a later time.
