A native of Oklahoma and long-term resident of Baton Rouge she passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016. Pauline was a pre-school teacher for many years and an excellent baker known for her wonderful cakes. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend that will be greatly missed by those who know her. She is preceded in death by her husband Maurice James Loker. Left to treasure her memory are her daughters Martha Jane Loker Douciere , Ph.D., and Nancy Loker Hart, Ph.D. (husband Jack W. Hart); grandchildren Lauren Hart Runnels, M.D. and Brian W. Hart; and great-grandchildren Ellie Cate Runnels and Emma Lauren Hart. A graveside service will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made in Pauline's name to the East Baton Rouge Library, 7711 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
