A native of Magnolia, MS and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at the age of 98. She was a member of Walker Baptist Church. She is survived by her two sons, Carl Ed Harrington and wife Peggy and Doug Harrington wife Donna; step daughter, Jeanette L. Buhler; six grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her former spouses, Carl Harrington Sr. and C.C. Whitey Lipscomb; step daughter, Laura L. Campbell; parents, four sisters and one brother. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, September 1, 2016, from 5 PM until 9 PM and will resume on Friday, September 2, 2016, from 12 PM until funeral service at 2 PM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
