Peggy Jean Douglas Voth "Silver" was surrounded by her family when she walked into the arms of Jesus on December 7, 2023, at the age of 83. She was a 1958 Graduate of Istrouma High School, served on the Walk to Emmaus and Kairos program, and a member of Reformation Church. She was born July 7, 1940, in Galveston, Texas to Noble and Betty Douglas. She raised a beautiful family, that she wholeheartedly dedicated her life to. She leaves behind her four children, Jimmy Hall, Bret Hall Sr., Candy Hall, and Cindy Ussery (Loyd), sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, brother Haskell Douglas as well as numerous relatives and friends. She devoted her life to her family. Peggy loved serving in church, spending time with her family, watching Hallmark movies, music, musicals and playing bingo. She was her family's matriarch. She was a refuge, caring, loving, devoted, faithful, dedicated, strong, kind, companionate, bright, fearless, feisty, biggest supporter/fan, and selfless. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Voth, and her parents, Noble and Betty Douglas. Visitation will take place at Greenoaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Tuesday, December 12, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Visitation will resume Wednesday, December 13, from 9 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow immediately at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Bret Hall, Jr., Brandon Billings, Hunter Hall, Blaine Ussery, Loyd Shane Ussery, and Byron Gunby. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Wheat, Jr., Ethan Wheat, Kaden Bardwell, & Karson Bardwell. Special thanks to Amiricale & Judy for all your loving care.
