Perry Alvin Dunaway, 87, a native of Pine Bluff, Ark. and a resident of Denham Springs, LA passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013. A loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, Perry was a U.S. Navy veteran with the Fleet Post Office and a retired Kasier Aluminum employee. He was a member of Lockheart Road Baptist Church and Northside Baptist Church and a member of the Istruma Lodge Masons. He is survived by his children: Jimmy Dunaway, Dale Dunaway, Perry Eugene and family, and Jeff Dunaway and wife Cindy and their children Jessica and Logan; and great grandson Sebastian Cupit. He is preceded in death by his wife Ellen Dunaway and his parents. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 12pm until service time at 2pm. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Perry’s honor to Life Source Hospice.
