PhD Mary Jaclyn Robertson Huber

Mary Jaclyn Robertson Huber, PhD passed away Saturday morning, 13 July, 2013, at 7:21 a.m. She was a beautiful woman of fiery resolve; she believed there was nothing she could not do, no problem she could not solve, no one she could not help. She was fascinated by creativity and intelligence, and followed this passion to a PhD in Educational Psychology&Research. She loved traveling and living among different cultures. She especially loved Japan, where she had two of her sons while her husband, Fritz, was stationed there as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force. Most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren. And we loved her. She is survived by her brother Jack Stuart Robertson and wife Susan, sister-in-law Regina Catherine Huber Maher, three sons: Frederick Felix (Rick) Huber, Jr. and wife Mary Lynne, Mark Frederick Huber and wife Judy, and Paul Hans Huber and wife Jane; five grandchildren: Allison Faith Huber; Andrew Frederick Huber; David Stuart Huber; Matthew Frederick Huber and wife Hallie, and Jack Reyes Huber; four step grandchildren: Jonathan Brian Everette and wife Julie, Emily Townsend Black Grey and husband Charles, John Bradley (Brad) Everette, and Elizabeth Weitkam (Betsy) Black Monteleone and husband Robert; seven step great grandchildren: Mary Elizabeth (Meg) Grey, Madison Riley Brinsley, Reed Alexander Everette, Isabella Starr Monteleone, Sara Grace Grey, Andrew Martin Everette, and Charles William (Chase) Grey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Felix (Fritz) Huber into God's kingdom. She will be sorely missed. Visitation will be on Monday evening, 15 July, 2013, from 6pm until 8pm with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street. Visitation will resume on Tuesday morning at St. Joseph Cathedral (corner 4th and Main streets) at 9am and will continue until Mass of Christian Burial at 10am, celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Gerald M. Lefebvre. Committal prayers will be offered and burial will be at 3pm at Greenwood Cemetery, Hwy 97, Jennings, LA.
