Prentiss Garland Pugh, passed from this world on February 28, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital due to complications during surgery. A longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Prentiss was born February 2, 1946, in Windsor, North Carolina to Roy and Eunice Pugh. He later served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He spent the rest of his life focused on his family, food industry management and a love for computers.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Janese Pugh and siblings Jane Matthews, Joan Singleton, Roy “Gus” Pugh, Jeff Pugh and Michael Pugh. He is survived by siblings: Ann Ferguson, Marguerite Boehm, Tim Pugh, Gordon Pugh, children: Michele Nicorre, Sherry Carpender-Pease, Brian Pugh, David Pugh and grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday March 7th, 2025 at Greenoaks Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
A burial will immediately follow in Greenoaks memorial Park.
