A retired St. Jean Vianney Catholic School teacher with over 20 years of experience, Rae W. Robert died at home in Baton Rouge on Monday, February 9, 2015. She was 72 and a native of Wilmington, NC. Visitation will be on Saturday, Feb. 14th, at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at noon celebrated by Rev. Tom Ranzino. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Rae is survived by her husband of 34 years, James E. Robert; daughter, Anne "Lisa" Clement and husband Steve of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren, Joey and Elizabeth Rae Clement; sister, Anne Nemmers of Wilmington; two brothers, Harry Worthington of Wilmington and Jimmy Worthington and wife Brenda of Seneca, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Reba Worthington; and a brother, Thomas Worthington. Rae was a member of St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church and the Denham Springs Fine Art Association. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the American Heart Association.
