Ralph Lane Seab, Jr., 78, a native of Fort Lewis, Washington and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on July 27, 2021. He was a lifelong Presbyterian. He enjoyed beekeeping, growing orchids, vegetable gardening, and collecting and refinishing antiques. He worked for many years at Dow Chemical, employed by John L. Lowery and Associates of Baton Rouge. Survivors include his wife of almost 52 years, Myra McGraw Seab of Baton Rouge; three daughters and their families: Julie and Fred Hettel and daughter Lauren Hettel of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Susan and Allen Thomas and their children Luke, Mary and Hannah of Nashville, Tennessee, and Carolyn and Shaun Drinkard of St. Petersburg, Florida; and twin sons, Wynton and Wylie. He is also survived by a sister, Betty and her husband James Burt of Baton Rouge; a nephew, Dr. William “Billy” Burt and his wife Cara and their daughter of Safety Harbor, Florida; and a niece, Laurie and her husband Jamey Jordan and their three sons of Olive Branch, Mississippi. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph L. Seab, Sr. of Baton Rouge. Private graveside rites were held on August 16, 2021, at Roselawn Cemetery.
